Call 4-1-1 for directory assistance, 9-1-1 for an emergency, and now you can call 2-1-1 for...anything....really.

2-1-1 offers the following services to residents:

• Human Services: food banks, shelters, rent assistance, etc
  
  
• Senior/Disability Support: adult day care, Meals on Wheels, transportation, etc
  
  
• Children, Youth and Family Support: childcare, after school program, mentoring, tutoring, summer camps, etc
  
  
• Physical and Mental Health Resources: Medicaid/Medicare, maternity, crisis intervention, support groups, etc
  
  
• Employment: financial assistance, job training, etc

This service was implemented in 2005 and is offered state-wide. The 2-1-1 number is available in 41 states.
