Live Earth coming to Giants Stadium

On July 7, 2007, musicians of varying genres will gather at Giants Stadium for the U.S. leg of Live Earth, a concert to help with the global warming crisis.

The Live Earth concert is picking up where Live 8 left off. Former U.S. Vice President, Al Gore, and Kevin Wall are partners in a global warming fight called S.O.S: Save Our Selves, which is aimed at educating people and promoting the need for action against our suffering climate.

Not only does this concert promote climate awareness, but it also is an example of "green" design, using engineers and designers to use state-of-the-art and environmentally conscious technology.

The U.S. show will feature:
AFI, AKON, ALICIA KEYS, BON JOVI, DAVE MATTHEWS BAND,
FALL OUT BOY
, JOHN MAYER, KANYE WEST, KELLY CLARKSON,
KT TUNSTALL, LUDACRIS, MELISSA ETHERIDGE, RIHANNA,
ROGER WATERS, SHERYL CROW, SMASHING PUMPKINS,
THE POLICE
